These guys were my first official outdoor shoot of the year.  Hooray for spring!  Of course, being mid-March and all, we still had to some cold to contend with, but the kids were troopers!  We were going for individual portraits of each of them, but we squeezed in a few others along the way.

Look! They're all looking at me! And smiling! At the same time!

No children were harmed, or head-swapped, in the making of this photo.

Mosaic

I recently helped with a little photography workshop at the school's art night. The theme for the evening was mosaics, so we tried to incorporate that into the workshop by taking mulitple pictures of the same subjects, but using different "parts" of the subject. We also focused on 5 basic photography principles.

This project really inspired me! It was fun to go into it with the restrictions and I loved the results. I plan to photograph my other kids in this way and hang the prints in their rooms!

The M Family

I have so much fun taking pictures for my friends! I get to see them interact, as a family, in a unique way and it's great. This family is wonderful and their little girl is so darling I think she might even be edible...

Again with the blue eyes! I think heaven is taunting me...

This little Miss had so much energy! That, combined with the heat, made her cheeks so delightfully rosy - you can't Photoshop that!
